The day for this tournment turned out pretty nice. It was mostly sunny except for a few times that it clouded up. The only real drawback was that everyones' trolling
motor batteries were going to be needing a major charge due to the strong winds that blew most of the day. In the end, there were plenty of good bags brought to the scales.

What's the score?

As always, it's a group gathering to see where each angler stands at the end of the tournament. |
Be sure to get every drop!

Here, Tournament Assistant Jim Stargel is preparing to weigh Don Bjerklie's fish. Don ended up taking 8th place with a weight of 12.90. |
Cootchy Cootchy Coo...

At first, I thought Jerry Ewert had a new Rapala-style earing and Howard Fullhart was checking it out. More than likely,
it appears that Howard was giving Jerry his spot where he caught all the fish on the Rush side.

Friends Forever!

Non-Boater award goes to Andy Ripley who caught 12.60 pounds of bass as TD Dave Steinbach gives him a group hug.
Andy, who is my cousin, participated as a guest in my boat who went
on to beat me...so much for family loyalty {grin}.
And just for the record, Andy never gave me any of his best kept secrets {wink}.

Lunker Man!

Milt Proffit is shown here getting the Lunker plaque. Milt had a fish weighing 5.15 pounds. Good going Milt!!
|
Second Place

Gary Eichhorn fished to take second place with a weight of 15.45 pounds. Nice job Gary!
|
Last but not least...First Place

Butch Wendtland fished the best and took first place by catching 16.40 pounds of fish. Congratulations Butch on a great day of fishing!!
